Dee is a Clinical Psychologist, former police officer, author and researcher. She is also a late-identified AuDHDer with lived-experience of autistic burnout and relational trauma, and offers online assessment, burnout recovery and therapeutic support sessions specifically tailored to adult women or non-binary AFAB individuals. She has a strong interest, and commitment to, high-masking women who have internalised those neurodivergent parts of themselves simply to survive the demands of existing in a world that wasn’t designed for supporting their needs. Dee has also published a book and audiobook to support women to recognise and track coercive control in relationships, with neurodivergent women being at significantly greater risk of harm for psychological and emotional abuse in relationships.

Sessions with Dee are collaborative and low demand. Laughter is always permitted; as are pets, movement, and sharing your interests. She considers her clients to be the experts on their unique experience and believes that bringing her professional expertise, endless curiosity and non-judgemental approach to working together provides a safe space that offers the women she supports an opportunity to flourish.

Drawing on an eclectic evidence-based menu of modalities and training adapted for the way a neurodivergent mind works; Dee tailors her sessions flexibly to meet her client’s goals; whether that be to gain greater self-understanding, building a personal sensory profile, recognising coercive control or psychological abuse in relationships, or developing a burnout recovery plan. For those seeking formal assessment, Dee is skilled in teasing out the lifetime of often over-looked experiences that clarify autism and/or ADHD in girls and women. Bringing her clinical lens, she considers each assessment holistically; mind, body and environment.

Dee’s current SPINs are psychology (always), collecting fountain pens obsessively, playing with watercolour paints, and anything related to Scottish, Irish or northern European legends and fairytales (the focus of the PhD she is completing). When not stuck down a research rabbit hole she can be found wandering in nature, writing Gothic women’s fiction or patting a random dog.

Chloe is a registered Clinical Psychologist with a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Originally from regional Queensland, she is now based in Western Australia. Chloe brings a warm, respectful, and empathic approach to her work and considers it a privilege to offer a safe, supportive space for clients navigating life’s complexities.

Her practice is grounded in trauma-informed, client-centred, and neurodiversity-affirming frameworks. Chloe places a strong emphasis on building a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship with her clients and recognises this as a central part of meaningful and effective therapy. She understands that each person has unique communication, sensory, social and cognitive needs so she welcomes collaborative exploration and feedback on how therapy can be adapted to honour these differences. Her goal is to support clients in ways that affirm their neurodivergent identity, foster self-understanding, and promote self-acceptance.

Chloe integrates a range of evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Schema Therapy and she adapts tools from these therapies to ensure they are accessible, flexible, and aligned with neurodiversity-affirming practice.

Outside the therapy room, Chloe enjoys travelling and being in nature, bird watching, and creating ceramic art and pottery pieces.
